Before your tan

• 💦 Prior to the tan, exfoliate and moisturise your skin.
• 🪒 Complete any waxing or shaving at least 24 hours before the tan.
• 🧼 On the day of the tan, ensure your skin is clean and dry.
• 🙅‍♀️ Avoid using deodorant, perfume, or moisturiser to prevent tan discolouration.

After your tan

• 🪭 Stay cool and dry until shower time, a great excuse to delegate chores!
• 🌊 Avoid exercise and water contact.
• 🚿 Wait at least 2 hours before showering (or the rinse time Jodie gives you on the day), then shower with lukewarm water to prevent the tan washing off.
• 🫧 Wash off all the bronzer until the water runs clear.
• 🤎 Pat dry after showering; avoid rubbing to maintain evenness.
• 🧴 Apply moisturiser after the first shower, preferably water-based, then daily to maintain the tan and ensure even fading.
• ☀️ Use sunscreen to protect against burning despite having a tan.
• 🛁 Avoid hot baths, spas, or showers to prolong the tan.
• 🙌 Maintain the tan with a gradual tanner containing DHA.

On the day

The studio is at 35 Turtles Bend, Secret Harbour WA 6173. If you could bring $50 cash that would be wonderful (bank transfer or Square on the day are fine too).

• A spray tan is a cosmetic treatment. The solution contains DHA, which develops colour on the outermost layer of your skin.
• Please tell Jodie above about any allergies, sensitive skin, skin conditions or medications, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (check with your GP or midwife first). A patch test is available on request and recommended at least 24 hours ahead for first-timers or sensitive skin.
• Every tan is different: how your colour develops and how long it lasts depends on your skin, your prep and your aftercare, so results can't be guaranteed.
• A spray tan gives you no sun protection at all. Please keep using sunscreen.
• The cosmetic bronzer can transfer onto light clothing and bedding while your tan develops. It usually washes out, but wear loose, dark clothing and take care with anything precious.
• Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent, with the parent or guardian present at the appointment.
• Your details are kept privately and used only for your appointments. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
